Her name means "princess" or "chieftainness". She remained childless for most of her life. She gave birth to Isaac at ninety. Through Isaac God's promise to her and Abraham was fulfilled. However, there was a point that she took matters to her own hands. This resulted to the bloody Arab-Israeli conflict.
Lesson: We need to wait for the Lord to fulfill his promises in our lives.
Reality: Waiting patiently for God is easier said than done, isn't it? However, we still need to trust him and WAIT.
"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."
